Randy Gene Bivens, 43, of Dickinson, Texas (formerly of Cambridge, Ohio) died Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the St. Luke’s Medical Center, Houston, Texas.

He was born June 25, 1970, a son of the late Raymond Eugene Bivens and Sylvia Bivens.
Randy worked for Affolter Contracting Co., Inc. Texas City, Texas as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He loved working and digging in the dirt and mud.

Surviving are his beloved girlfriend Deborah Affolter of Texas, sisters Melissa Bond of Florida, and Norma Curtis of Kansas, brother Raymond Bivens, Jr. of Colorado, two daughters Britney Eibel Johnston of Ohio and Courtney Eibel of Ohio, son Richard Bivens of Ohio, step-son Erick Timberman of Ohio, step-daughter Britney Timberman of Ohio, four grandchildren Chealynn, Kynsleigh, Parker, and Brodie, three step-grandchildren Kason, Ben, Trace, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Chris Allen Hannum and Robert Hannum.

A memorial service celebrating Randy’s life will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church 13217 FM 1764 Rd, Santa Fe, TX 77510.
