She was born May 12, 1989 in Fond du Lac a daughter of David Nelson Jr. and Lori Heimerl Nelson. Samantha was a Sophomore at New Holstein High School. She loved sports, lived life to the fullest and was truly a wonderful person. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein and the New Life Community Church in Plymouth.
Survivors include her parents, David and Lori Nelson of New Holstein; two sisters, Heather of Whitewater and Sara of Oshkosh; two brothers, Joey and Trevin, both at home; maternal grandparents, Joe (Kathy) Heimerl of New Holstein; paternal grandparents, Dave (Dorothy) Nelson of New Holstein; further survived by aunts, uncles and many cousins.
