Karen Kay Stone, 66, of Spencer, formerly of Charleston, passed away October 24, 2014, after a short illness. She was born November 6, 1948, in Point Pleasant, to the late Kenneth and Ora Rodgers Keener. Karen was a Christian and attended Steel Hollow Community Church.
She is survived by her loving family, husband of 47 years, Frankie Stone; daughter, Melissa Dawn (David) Minjarez; sons, Chris Stone and Roger (Melissa) Stone; brother, Roger (Zhenzhu) Keener; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 27, at Elk Funeral Home, 2001 Pennsylvania Ave., Charleston, with Reverend Jackie Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Kennawa Drive, Charleston, WV 25311. Elk Funeral Home, Charleston, WV, is honored to serve the Stone family.
