Carolyn Calhoun Ellison, 81, of Wilson died Saturday morning at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield.
Born September 2, 1933 she was the daughter of the late Hubert Earl Calhoun and Loreen Dabbs Calhoun.
Funeral Services will be conducted at Farmington Heights Church in Wilson at 7:00 pm on Monday, December 15, 2014 with the Reverend LaVon Phillips officiating. The committal service will be in Princeton Cemetery on Tuesday, December 16, 2016 at 11:00 am.
She is survived by her husband, Harold T. Ellison; a son, Dan Curtis of Lucama; two daughters, Dyan Phillips and husband LaVon of Wilson, and Lisa Jones and husband Dale of Princeton; Grandchildren, Shane Phillips of Lucama, Seth Phillips and wife Tracey of Princeton, Sean Phillips and wife Ginger of Wilson, Chris Barnes and wife Grace of Chapel Hill, Elisabeth Smith and husband Aaron of Birmingham, Alabama, and Anthony Jones of Princeton; Great-Grandchildren, Nicholas and Aaron, Luke, Drew and Reid, Christian, Isabella and Hunter, and Aubrey and Brycen.
The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday, December 15, 2014 at Farmington Heights Church in Wilson and immediately after the funeral service.
