!-- Billy Larue Gordon A funeral service for Billy Larue Gordon , 69, of Port Orange, FL, who passed away December 10, 2014, will be held Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Dale Woodward Funeral Home, 167 Ridgewood Avenue, Holly Hill, Florida at 5:00pm with Wiley Lowe, Minister officiating.

Calling hours will be held before the service beginning at 3:00pm.

Mr. Gordon was born on March 5, 1945 in Frostproof, Florida to John and Katie Gordon .

He moved to this area as a young child and graduated from Mainland High School. He was a proud Vietnam Army veteran. He was a member of the American Legion, a former Eagles member, and enjoyed NASCAR-especially Earnhardt fan, and a gun collector.

He loved spending time with family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Michael Gordon of Port Orange, FL and Timothy Gordon of Port Orange, FL, his daughters Bettie Gordon of Port Orange, FL and Sandra Carter of South Daytona, FL, his sisters Geraldine Phillips of Wylie, TX, Rosa Dingman of Gastonia, NC, and Donna Miller of Bunnell, FL, and three Grandsons, J.J., Kenneth, and William.
