Isma Roy Escude, age 82, passed away at her home on Saturday, December 13, 2014 in Mansura.
Isma enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles in her spare time; she also enjoyed baking for family and friends. Isma also liked to travel and work on genealogy of her family’s history. She was also a member of the Mansura Chamber of Commerce for many years and a member of the LSU Alumni Federation.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur J. Escude; parents, Thomas A. & Estelle B. Roy; brother, Thomas Roy; & grandson, Aaron Jeansonne.
Those left to cherish her memories are her children: Stacy Bordelon of Opelousas; Jody Jeansonne of Kingwood, Tx; Jay Escude of Dallas, Tx; and Andrew Escude of Lubbock, Tx; and her brother Clarence Roy of Longbridge. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
