Age 84, of Cranston, died Thursday, May 27, 2010 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the husband of Gloria A. (Lato) Lombardo for 62 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Angelo and Emaculate (DeFusco) Lombardo.
Mr. Lombardo was employed by Ruggieri Floor Covering of Cranston for thirty-five years, before retiring in 1988. He was a member of Teamsters Local #94 of Providence, and the United Commercial Travelers.
Survived by his wife; his children, Edward A. Lombardo and his wife Linda of Smithfield and Carol A. Lombardo of West Warwick.
Grandfather of Edward and Kristen Lombardo and the great-grandfather of Ava Grace and Nathan.
He was the brother of Alice Albanese of Providence, and the late Salvatore, Anthony, Frank, Victor, Marshall, Joseph, and Angelo Lombardo, Anna Martinelli, Edith LaFamme, and Florence Coresetti.
