Burial in the Valeene Cemetery is by Swarens Funeral Home of Marengo. Mr. Lane, a retired farmer, was a native of Orange County. He was a member of the Valeene Church where service are being conducted. He was a son of Jordon and Elizabeth Walls Lane. Surviving with his wife, Mrs. Pearl Flick Lane is a daughter, Mrs. Frank Stewart, and a son Carol Lane, both of Route 1, Paoli; one sister, Mrs. Lucy Martin of Indianapolis; one half-sister, Mrs. Alice Forbes of Southgate, Calif.; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
