William Allington Jr., 58, of Port St. Lucie, FL, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family,December 13, 2014 at Martin Medical Center in Stuart, FL.
Born in Norwalk, CT, William was a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL, for 19 years.
Prior to moving to Florida, Mr. Allington was a Machinist at Nash Engineering in Norwalk, CT. After moving to Florida he worked for SPS, International Wholesale Tile and United Refrigeration on the Treasure Coast.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years Pamela L. Allington of Port St. Lucie, FL; six children, Michael Wakefield and his wife Jennifer, Steven Wakefield, both of Port St. Lucie, FL, Marisa Allington of Houston, TX, Lisamarie Martens and husband John, Tina Allington and Amy Allington, all of Port St. Lucie, FL; six grandchildren, Ava Wakefield, Andrew Wakefield, Kenzie Cole, Mia Martens, Adam Martens and Ayden Bradley; his father, William Allington, Sr. of Westport, CT; sister, Susan Waterbury and husband Alan of Norwalk, CT, brother, Timothy Allington of Jensen Beach, FL and sister, Patricia Allington-Porter of Homestead, FL.
He was predeceased by his mother, Martha Allington and sister, Roberta Jackson.
A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, December 20, 2014, 11AM in the Chapel at Morningside Church, Port St. Lucie, FL.
