Fred Anheuser Nall, a retired banker, died Monday (Aug. 25, 1997) at his home in Clayton after a long illness. He was 86.

Mr. Nall retired in the late 1960s from the old First National Bank in Clayton, where he spent 20 years as vice president.

Mr. Nall was a native of St. Louis. He grew up in Bardstown, Ky., but moved back to this area as a young boy.

His business career included a management position with the KD Restaurant and Hotel Supply Co., which he owned with his brother, Alfred A. Nall.
