Cumberland Times; Cumberland, Maryland, Sunday, February 18, 1940: Mrs. Mary Catherine Ruppert, 79, died yesterday afternoon at the home of her niece, Mrs. Cora M. Cage, 15 South Centre street, who is the only immediate survivor. Her husband died about 60 years ago. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. The body will remain at the Wolford Funeral Home. The family has requested that floral tributes be omitted.
