Evening Times; Cumberland, Maryland, Monday, February 19, 1940: Harvey E. Crosby, 61, freight conductor for the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad, 939 Maryland Ave., died of a heart attack in Connellsville, Pa. Saturday at 10:30 p.m., just after he completed a run from Cumberland. A native of Hyndman, Pa., he was an employe of the railroad for 35 years. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Conductors. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Anna (Beal) Crosby; two sons, Joseph Crosby, Cumberland, and Leo Crosby, Palm Springs, Cal.; three daughters, Mrs. B. Woodyard Dyche, Bedford street, and Anna and Marcella Crosby, at home; four brothers Walter Crosby, Erie, Pa.; Earl Crosby, Connellsville; Ray Crosby, Gray, Pa., and Albert Crosby, Cumberland; and five grandchildren.
