Dave Stewart was born in Elmo, Missouri, December 7, 1950. (His birth name was Jackie David, but he let you know that he went by "Dave"!) He passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, September 25 at his home in Zillah, WA.
He was the youngest of seven children born to Erple (Pappy) and Arlyene Conrad Stewart. His dad worked in various harvests in Washington and California, going back and forth to Missouri in between; in 1955 Erple moved his family to Washington to stay. Dave had one older sister, Sue, and five older brothers, James, Bill, Danny, Lynn and Vaughn. Dave would laughingly refer to he and his brothers as "The Buena Bunch.
