Eva (Birdd) Babcock, age 84 years, formerly of the Yuba and Mauston, Wisconsin area, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2005 at the Buffalo Waterfront Health Care Nursing Home in New York.

Eva L. Millard was born on November 27, 1920 to Erving and Oriel (Grimshaw) Millard in Portland, Oregon. She married Leo Birdd on January 24, 1939 in Portland; they returned to Yuba, Wisconsin where they farmed for many years and she was also a health care provider. He preceded her in death on October 31, 1969. She later married James Babcock of Mauston in 1975; he also preceded her in death. In 2000, she moved to East Aurora, New York, near her Son.

She is survived by her son, Don (Laurene) Birdd, eight grandchildren, and many great and great, great grandchildren.

In addition to her Husbands, Leo Birdd and James Babcock, she was preceded in death by her Parents, and a son, James Birdd.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at the Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro, Wisconsin. Interment will be at the Czech National Cemetery near Yuba. For online information go to www.pichafuneralhomes.com
