Phillip passed unexpectedly on November 23, 2014.

He was born in Gordon, Neb. on April 14, 1970 to Phillip D. and Elsie (Six) Garrett. He joined five older siblings, all girls!

He attended Gordon Elementary School, until age 11 and then moved to North Liberty, Ind. with his mother and his little sister. For a short time he lived in Wyoming with his father, he then returned to Indiana. He graduated from John Glenn High School, Walkerton, Ind., Class of 1988.

In January of 1989, his first daughter, Chasidy Ann was born, to follow was son, Tristan (January 1996) and daughter, Cheyenne (September 1997).

Early in 2000, he moved to what he always thought of as home, Gordon, Neb. He bartended at the Italian Inn and helped renovate the new Italian Inn.

After returning home to Gordon, Neb., Phillip reunited with a friend, Wendy Junge. A few months later they started their life together. He worked for Peterson Seeds and then Miskimins Motors, selling cars. In October of 2001, their daughter, Sierra Lynn was born. A few months later he started his job with Harris Sales. He worked hard and made many close friends along his route. February 2005 their son, Dalton Phillip was born.

Phillip enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, a good joke, a game of cards with the family. And most of all he loved being home in Gordon, Neb. and spending time with his kids. He was a very proud father.

He was proceeded in death by his father, Phillip Dixon Garrett.

Surviors include his wife, Wendy, Gordon, Neb. Three daughers, Chasidy Garrett, Walkerton, Ind.; Cheyenne Garrett, Fish Lake, Ind. and Sierra Lynn Garrett, Gordon, Neb. Two sons; Tristan Garrett, Fish Lake, Ind. and Dalton Phillip Garrett, Gordon Neb. One granddaughter, Riley Bell, Walkerton, Ind.; One grandson, Bentley Garrett, Fish Lake, Ind.; mother, Elsie Garrett, Clinton, Neb.; six sisters, Pam (Vernon) Hare, Gordon Neb., Theresa Winters, Gypsum, Kan.; Mary (Craig) Musfelt, Gordon, Neb.; Dixie (Gordon) Fair, Battle Mountain, Nev.; Becky Romero, Clinton, Neb.; Michelle (Jon) Helminger, North Liberty, Ind. Many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services were held November 28, 2014 at Church of God, Gordon, NE with Pastor Barney Fultz.
