Norma E. Steele, 85, of Kansas City, passed June 2, 2008. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 5, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Floral Hills Chapel, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., KCMO, with services following at 1 p.m. Burial following at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Steele was born in Urich, Mo., on Oct. 25, 1922. She was a lifetime member of Grace Point Church (the former Swope Park Baptist Church) where she was a Sunday school teacher. Norma also was a beautician in the area. Mrs. Steele is survived by her husband, of the home, Bill Steele; two sons, Richard and Lee Steele; and three grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Heart of America Chapter, 3846 W. 75th Street, Prairie Village, KS 66208.
