Carol Lee (Woods) Sells, 70, of Apollo, tragically passed away Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014, while doing one of the things she loved the most, volunteering to help others. She worked as a secretary for several companies, including NUMEC, ARCO Medical, Babcock and Wilcox, and Allegheny Ludlum in Natrona Heights. She last worked as a transcriptionist for Dr. Debra McFadden in Leechburg. Her community service was unparalleled. Carol volunteered for Meals on Wheels, and was a faithful member of Boiling Springs Presbyterian Church in Spring Church, where she was a deacon, Sunday school teacher and moderator of the Women's Association. She was a member of a women's card club in the area for more than 30 years. Carol was involved with the Apollo Historical Society and the Apollo Spring Church Relay For Life. In what little free time she had, Carol enjoyed reading, painting and watching her grandkids play sports. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Peggy Womeldorf and JoAnn George; and brothers, Charles E. Woods and Timothy M. Woods. Carol is survived by her sons, Matthew W. (Rhonda) Sells, of Apollo, and Patrick W.
