Evangeline Maude Cyrus was born on 20 March 1890 in Howard Lake, Wright, MN, the thirteenth of 14 children born to Jesse Cyrus (1845-1919) and Sarah Jane Hurley Cyrus (1848-1936). She was married to Daniel Michael Adams (1888-1957) on 8 October 1913 in Wright County, MN. She was widowed in 1957. She died on 30 November 1959 in St. Paul, MN at the age of 69. She was interred at Mound Cemetery.
