J. C. Brewer's Rites Set Today

Sweetwater - Funeral for J. C. Brewer, 46, of Route 1, Loraine, who died Thursday at 8:15 p.m. at Simmons Memorial Hospital here was to be held at 4 p.m. Friday in Patterson Chapel of Memories.

The Rev. Malcolm Brown, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, and Claude Brown, minister of Lamar Street Church of Christ, were to officiate.

Burial was to be in Garden of Memories.

Born Dec. 17, 1919 in Frisco, Mr. Brewer was a clerk at the Sweetwater Post Office and owned a farm at Loraine. He lived in the Sweetwater area most of his life.

He was married to Cora Mae Bartlett April 6, 1946 at San Angelo.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Keith, of the home; his father, Oscar Brewer, of Loraine; a brother, Hester, of Sweetwater; two sisters, Mrs. Irene Miller of Sweetwater and Mrs. Bertha Yandell of Fort Worth.
