Nov. 26, 1940 - Dec. 11, 2014 Ben D. Turner, III, age 74 of Mobile, passed away on December 11, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ben D. Turner, Jr and Genevieve Wilson Turner; sister, Genevieve Turner Seibt. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Kathryn Smith Turner; nieces , nephews, many beloved cousins, other family and friends. Ben was a US Navy Veteran and a retired sales representative with Bedsole Medical Companies for 37 years. Following his time with Bedsole, he worked for Scotch Gulf Lumber Company . A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 17, 2014 (TODAY) from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at Azalea City Funeral Home, 690 Zeigler Circle West, Mobile. Graveside services will follow at Alabama Veterans Cemetery, Spanish Fort, Alabama.
