He was born October 10, 1928 in Wirt County, WV, son of the late Leonard and Anna Sink Lockhart.
Surviving Junior are five sons Bob Lockhart (Kathy), Steve Lockhart, Carl Lockhart, Phillip Lockhart (Marsha) Carroll Lockhart, Joe Lockhart (Valorie), six daughters Linda Klinedinst (Eric), Sandy Francis (Lyle), Judy Griffith (Nathan), Mary Sue Withrow, Shawnee Starcher (Terry), Janet Davis (Tommy) and many beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents Junior was preceded in death by his late wives Lillian, Juanita and Mary, son Curtis Carroll, three sisters Jane, Gladys and Mary, and four brothers Charles "Kennie", Eugene, Oliver W. "Bud" and Ray Lockhart.
The funeral service will be 11:00 am Monday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Brian Arthur officiating. Entombment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
