Karen E. Robbins age 67, 2822 Butternut Creek Portland passed away Thursday in I.U. Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. She was born in Jay County August 19, 1947 the daughter of Carl and Melba (Grady) Retter. She was married in 1979 to Tom Robbins who survives. She was retired from CTS in Berne and was a cook for Jay County High School.
Surviving are her husband of thirty five years Tom, her mother Melba Retter of Redkey, one son Chad Derrickson of Portland, one daughter Lisa Derrickson of Portland, two brothers Barry Retter of Redkey and Mike Retter of Redkey, Three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. In the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with burial in the Green Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2:00 – 8:00 P.M. And prior to the services Tuesday. Memorials can be made to the Jay County Heart Fund of Jay County Cancer Society.
