McHENRY - Denise C. Ryan, 40, of McHenry, died Tuesday, May 31, 2005, at her home.

She was born April 3, 1965, in Chicago, to Donald H. and Marcella J. (Bannahan) Spitzock. On Sept. 13, 1986, she married Patrick J. Ryan in Northlake.

She was a proud mother and a homemaker, and attended the Church of Holy Apostles.

She is survived by her husband, Patrick; two children, Heather and Nick Ryan; her father; a brother, Mark Spitzock; and three sisters, Donna (Bernie) Carrol, and Cindy and Cathy Spitzock.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

The visitation will be Thursday, June 2, 2005, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home, 591 Ridgeview Drive, McHenry.

Prayers will be said Friday, June 3, 2005, at 8:15 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at The Church of Holy Apostles at 9 a.m. Interment will be private.

Memorials to the family may be made in care of the funeral home.
