Thomas H. Tennant Sr., 65, of Clinton Township, died Sunday, April 16, 2006. He was born June 13, 1940.Mr. Tennant ran the Tennant Press in Detroit with his brother, Robert. His family said he took exceptional pride in his work. He was a former member of NSRA and had attended Southeastern High School in Detroit.He enjoyed gardening, street rods, and spending time in nature feeding birds and ducks in the canal.He is survived by his wife, E. Diane; children, Thomas Jr., Daniel, William (Sarah), James, Rose (Scott) Ballew, and Cheryl (Mike) Flynn; grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn, Angela, John Thomas, Tammi Rebecca, Timothy William, Kathleen Diane, Andrew Scott, Brett Michael, Amber, Ryan James, Amanda, Joshua Dorian and Jessica Rose; great-grandchildren, Brenden and Nathan; brother, Robert; and many nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by his parents, John and Rose Tennant; and brothers, William, John and David.A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Chas Verheyden Funeral Home, 16300 Mack Ave., Grosse Pointe. Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 5-9 p.m. Wednesday.
