Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, June 9, 2008, at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 6 to 8 P.M., Sunday, June 8, 2008, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Steenbergen Cemetery, Mt. Pulaski, IL.
Bessie was born July 4, 1917, in Lake Fork, IL, the daughter of Elmer and Bessie Alma (Coates) Duncan. She married Donald Witts on June 2, 1933 and he preceded her in death in April 1965. She later married Boyd Cooper on June 29, 1985 in Decatur, IL.
Bessie was a member of Decatur Foursquare Church.
She is survived by her husband Boyd of Decatur, IL; children Karin Zindars and husband Ted of Decatur, IL, Ivan Witts and wife Debby of Lake George, CO, Harold Witts and wife Debbie of Decatur, IL; 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; sister Pauline Poth of Decatur, IL
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald, son Gary Witts, great grandson Colin, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
