KENTON, May 11 - Last rites for Mrs. W. E. Reed, 74, well known resident of Goshen-tp near Kenton, who died Monday at her home, were to be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at McKendree church with Rev. Ballinger of Marseilles in charge. Burial in Grove cemetery here.
Mrs. Reed died after a two-year illness which started when she fell and fractured her hip. She was born in Washington-tp, Hardin-co, July 5, 1863, and had lived in the county all her life.
Surviving are the husband; one son, Ray Reed, Detroit; one daughter, Mrs. Roy Kempsell, Kenton; one granddaughter, Miss Marilyn Kempsell, Kenton; and two sisters, Viola and May Wood, both of Kenton.
