Fred Maurice Osborne, Jr. Sept. 16, 1966 - Dec. 4, 2014 SOUTH BEND - Fred Maurice Osborne Jr., beloved son, father, grandfather and brother, who resided on Bryan Street, South Bend, Indiana passed away suddenly in his residence, on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the age of 48. Fred's life began on September 16, 1966 in South Bend, Indiana when he was born to the union of Fred Lee and Lois Vernice (Sweeney) Osborne Jr. He was reared in South Bend, receiving his education in the South Bend public schools. Fred graduated from St. Joseph High School and attended Prairie View College in Texas and also Ivy Tech, South Bend. He was a self-employed truck driver. Among his hobbies were cooking; sports, especially football; and lifting weights. He was a member of Pentecostal Cathedral COGIC. Fred is survived by three daughters, Quila Osborne-Harvey (Brian), and Tamera Snowden (Eric), both of Indianapolis, Indiana and Darnicia Clay of South Bend, IN; two sons, Fred Osborne Jr. of Atlanta, GA and Shaquille Osborne of San Antonio, TX; seven grandchildren, Tyson and Tylin Osborne, Brian, Bri`yah, and Bray`lin Harvey, and Nariah Snowden and Darvyquin Clay; his mother, Lois Osborne; one sister, Freda Greer (Calvin); two brothers, Kenneth Osborne and Dwight Darryl Osborne (Cheryl), all of South Bend, IN; nieces, Lakia Osborne ,Sherika Robinson, Chamarie Greer, Alexis Osborne and Cherral Boye; nephews, Michael Osborne, Dwight Osborne II, Maurice Greer, Kalvin and Calvin Greer (twins), Dontre Aron and Jordan Pfeifer, two godchildren, Syann and Sanyae Perry. Along with other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death was his father, Fred Lee Osborne; a daughter, Willow Osborne, a granddaughter, Bri`nne Harvey; maternal grandparents, Alonzo and Leola Kerr; paternal grandparents, Eldrige and Pauline Osborne; and an uncle, Herman Kerr. Funeral services for Fred Maurice Osborne will be held Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m., at Pentecostal Cathedral COGIC with viewing occurring one hour prior to services. Visitation will occur from 6:00 p.m., to 8:00 p.m., on Friday, December 12, 2014 at Alford's Mortuary. Arrangements have been entrusted to Alford's Mortuary.
