Carolyn Cummings, 80, Inverness, Florida, passed away December 10, 2014, in Hospice of Citrus County & Nature Coast of Lecanto. A native of Greensboro, North Carolina, she was born December 17, 1933, to the late Thomas and Rilla (Williams) Puckett and came to this area in 1994 from Pennsville, New Jersey. She was a retired office secretary and enjoyed golfing. She was Presbyterian by faith.
Carolyn is survived by her husband of 49 years, David; three sons, Barry T. Cummings of North Carolina, Rodney Cummings, Damascus, Maryland, Allen (Lisa) Cummings, Pennsville, New Jersey; daughter, Kelly (Scott) Zane, Murrells Inlet, South Carolina; two sisters: Mary Sleight, Floral City and Kathleen Clower, Jacksonville; 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, David Jr. and brother, Leroy.
