Ms. Avria Anderson was born on September 14, 1928 in Mounds City, Illinois to the union of Charles and Nora Anderson.
She attended and graduated from the Lovejoy High School in Mounds City, Illinois in 1949. She accepted Christ at an early age and attended the Methodist Church in Mounds City.
Avria, better known as '' Avery '', moved from Mounds City to Edwardsville, Illinois in 1951. She resided there for fifty-one years.
Avery was employed at Nathan Marcus and later, at Essex Propellex (ammunition & firearms division). She received numerous awards for hardly ever missing a day of work. She retired in 1994 at the age of seventy-three.
Avria departed this life on Monday, December 31, 2001 in the comfort of her home at 3:20 A.M. Both parents; two brothers, James Clark and Charles Anderson; one sister, Mary Lula Belle Anderson Butler, preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her niece, Margaret Ann (L.D.) Bradford; nephew, Wayne (Jessie) Henderson; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
