Unityville outdoorsman enjoyed fishing
Larry E. Stackhouse,58, of Unityville went to be with the Lord Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at the Millville Health Care Center.
Born Dec. 19, 1953, in Muncy, he was a son of Arlena (Shaner) Stackhouse of Unityville and the late Guy Stackhouse.
Larry attended Hughesville High School and served in the U.S. Army.
He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR races.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Jared L. Stackhouse, and a longtime companion, Judy R. Green.
He is survived by two brothers: Guy L. Stackhouse and his wife, Nancy, of Benton, and Richard W. Stackhouse of Muncy; granddaughter: Ashley Rose Stackhouse of Hughesville; two nieces: Brenda S. Fry of Bloomsburg and Kelly L. Grabowski of Berwick; a great-nephew: Braydon A. Fry of Bloomsburg; an aunt: Sharon Houseknecht of Columbus, Ohio, and companion Tammy McGraw of Unityville.
Memorial services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Bunnell Funeral Home Inc., 179 E. Main St., Millville, PA 17846, with the Rev. Michael Woolcock, of Rohrsburg Christian Church, officiating. Friends may call from 1 p.m until time of service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Bunnell Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses. Friends unable to attend may send condolences at bunnellfuneralhome.com.

Larry's cremains were interred along side his father in Salem Cemetery.
His mother is Arlena Agnes (Shaner) Stackhouse [a resident of Millville Health Care Center], a daughter of Harry Monroe Shaner and Ethel Clia (Woodside) Shaner. ** Sadly Arlena passed away 10 Dec 2017 and is interred along side her parents at Twin Hills Memorial Park, located in Fairfield Township, Lycoming County, on Rt 220 between Halls and Montoursville. **
His father [deceased] was Guy Richard Stackhouse, the son of Jacob Jasper Stackhouse and Catherine "Cate" (Stafford) Stackhouse.
Jared L. Stackhouse [deceased], was the son of Larry Eugene Stackhouse and Susan "Sue" (Spotts) Stackhouse.
Ashley Rose Stackhouse is the daughter of Jared L. Stackhouse and Jenel Zeisloft.
