Nancy Margaret Burnes was the d/o John W. Burnes & was an early family to Wilkes Co., GA during the time of the American Revolution (Wilkes Co., GA records).
Her husband Elijah F. Dearing was also one of the earliest families at Wilkes Co., GA.

Elijah Dearing & wife Margaret Burnes were parents of five children - 4 daus.& one son: Marcia (b. 1803), John Blake (b. 1805-d. 1882, never married), Helen (b. 1852), Lucy Ann (b. 1810) & Keziah (b. 1812).(all children verified in Elijah's will)
