Cheryl A. Cherry, age 55 of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at the Toledo Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on January 10, 1959 in Toledo to William and Jereve Newton.

Cheryl was a 1977 graduate of Macomber Whitney High School and continued her education at Ross Medical School. Over the years she was employed with The Andersons, various banks and credit unions in the area and for the past 3 years was a data entry clerk for the Zepf Center in Toledo. She enjoyed baking and was an award winning painter and enjoyed her time with friends and family. She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Rossford. Cheryl was a loving wife, mother and sister and will be dearly missed.

Surviving is her loving husband of 35 years, Thomas Cherry; daughters, Kayla and Bailey Cherry; brother, Bill Newton; aunt and uncle, Stanley and Glenda Newton; cousins, Kathy, Kenny and Scott. Also surviving are nieces and nephews.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents and inlaws.

Family and friends may visit at the Sujkowski Funeral Home of Rossford, 830 Lime City Rd. on Monday, December 15, 2014 from 2 to 8 PM. Visitation will continue on Tuesday at All Saints Catholic Church, 628 Lime City Rd. beginning at 9 AM in the church narthex. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 AM with Rev. Kent Kaufman officiating. Interment will follow at Ft. Meigs Cemetery in Perrysburg.
