Last Wednesday July 5 at two o'clock occurred the funeral of Elbert Clark son of A. C. Clark, formerly a resident here. He died in Kinsley, Kansas of dropsy and heart trouble at the age of about 52. He leaves a wife and three grown children, besides his mother Mrs. Mick in South Pella.

Mary E. Carr born in Fowler, St. Lawrence Co., N. Y., Feb. 28, 1852, married Charles Elbert Clark, in Coopersville, Mich., Oct. 23, 1871. He was born in Antwerp, N. Y., Dec. 20, 1845.

Their children are:
1. Minnie Blanch Clark, b. March 12, 1874, Pella, Iowa.
2. Mabel Vary Clark, b. Oct. 9, 1881,
