Lee married Wilma Morehouse on January 3, 1951. Lee and Wilma had four children, seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Georgia Rae Liggett; and son, Mark Morgan.
Lee proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War from 1948-1952. Lee and Wilma raised their family in the Rifle-Glenwood Springs areas where Lee was an active member of the communities.
Lee was hired in 1952 by State Farm, where he successfully sold insurance throughout the Western Slope for 44 years. Lee received many annual awards with State Farm that included the President's Club, the Bronze Tablet and Silver Scroll; was a member of the Millionaire's Club, Legion of Honors and the Ambassador Travel program. This allowed Lee and Wilma to travel the world, having qualified for the trips as a top-selling agent with State Farm.
