Lisa Michelle Gann Ramirez, born on September 10, 1970, passed away on December 09, 2014 at the age of 44.

Lisa graduated from R.L. Turner High school and continued her education graduating from University of Texas at San Antonio with her Bachelors in education.

She was an active church member at River City Community Church and dedicated her time as a volunteer for C.A.M. and working with animals. She loved to garden, roses being her favorite flower. Lisa and her husband owned LNO Tire and opened up their home as foster parents.

Lisa is preceded in death by her grandparents, Lotti Bell Whitmire and Mike Whitmire.

She is survived by her loving husband, Oscar Ramirez; mother, Para Lee Whitmire; brothers, Kenneth Gann and Larry Gann; sister, Pam Ownes; niece, Amy Kelly; nephew, Andrew Gann; great niece, Emmeline Swift; great nephew, Riley Gann. Lisa also leaves behind her loyal dogs, Daisy, Penny and Buddy.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 12, 2014 at the Schertz Funeral Home chapel from 4:00PM to 9:00PM with the funeral service to begin at 6:30PM, Pastor Willie Mayfield officiating. Services are to be continued at Wharton Funeral Home Chapel, in Wharton, Texas on Saturday, December 13, 2014 with the viewing at 12:00PM and the funeral services to begin at 2:00PM with intermit to follow to Evergreen Memorial Park, Pastor Joel Ramirez officiating.
