Mrs. Hettie Matilda Naef, 51, a resident of Eureka for many years, died at her home Saturday after a long illness. She was born April 20, 1890, in Bisbee, Ariz., a daughter of Charles and Matilda Peterson Mills.
Surviving are her husband, Jacob Naef; five daughters, Nadine, Helen and Audrey Naef of Eureka; Mrs. Bernice Veriel of Salt Lake City; and Mrs. Elder of Alladena, Cal.; three sons, Earl Naef of Mammoth, Roland Naef of Eureka and Robert Naef of Alladena, Cal; two brothers, Loren Mills of Neola, Utah; Moyle Mills of Salt Lake City, and a sister, Mrs. Ethel Wilson of Scofield, and her father, Charles Mills of Mt. Pleasant.
