ANNA M. (LABRIOLE) GREENE-MARTUCCI - 86, of Warwick, passed away Tuesday April 2, 2013 at the Greenwood Center in Warwick. Although she was besieged by the after-effects of a massive stroke, she was known by staff and residents there to be a loving, spirited individual who was caring, considerate, and giving.

All who interacted with her knew she was “one special lady”.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Imondi) Labriole. She was the beloved wife of the late Salvatore Martucci and the late Elliott R. Greene; cherished mother of Sally Ann M. Mancini and her husband George of Warwick; loving step-mom to Elliott Greene and his wife Lynne of Coventry; the loving grandmother of Christopher (and his fiancé Cassandra) and Giana Mancini, and was predeceased by her siblings: Theresa Baldwin, Bessie DeGennaro, Mary DiGennaro, and Ralph, Carmine, Michael, Frank and John Labriole.

Anna was employed by the Providence School System, West Bay Community Action, and the Buttonwood Senior Center of Warwick, but her most cherished occupation was that of nurturer as wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to travel and had a keen sense of music, playing piano by ear, and singing in her church choir and at family gatherings.

Her funeral will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, Knight St. Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are THURSDAY FROM 4 P.M. to 8 P.M.
