Terry was born to Ferdinando Angelo Carmine Ricci and Anna Maria Filomena Brunetti. Her parents were born in Bojano, Italy. Ferdinando came to this country on May 7, 1891 with his brother Raffaele who was 15 years old. A family friend by the name of Pasquale Giannotta accompanied them. Ferdinando was listed as 14 years of age on the passenger list. He went back and forth to his native country several times before he married Anna Brunetti on September 20, 1900 in Bojano. The couple came to America as man and wife on February 21, 1901. There were 6 Ricci children who survived to adulthood: Diomira, Linda (Tinda), Ferdinand (Fred), Anna (Tana), Armando (Arman) & Theresa (Terry). Three children died young; they were Gaetano, Linda and Teresa. Theresa Maria Carmela Ricci was the youngest of these children. All of her siblings passed on before her.

Terry and a couple of girl friends moved to Los Angeles, California just after World War II. She met Wallace Frederick Craig, a Veteran of World War II, who was a resident of the same boarding house. They fell in love and married, March 16, 1947 in Las Vegas, Nevada. (Please visit Wallace Craig's site for more information).

Terry retired from Market Wholesale when her daughter, Arleen, was about 6 years old to become a full time Mom. She resumed her career when Arleen was a junior in high school and remained in full time employment until Wally and Terry moved to Coarsegold, California in 1973. They loved the California Sierra foothills and spent a lot of time exploring the area.

Terry was survived by her husband Wallace Frederick Craig (now deceased 10-25-1925 - 09-22-2003) of Raymond, CA, her daughter Arleen Diana Craig Ellis, son-in-law Douglas Scott Francis Ellis, two grandsons, Brean Craig Francis Ellis and Arean Price Francis Ellis, all of Vacaville, CA, and many relatives in New York.

Terry spent the last few years of her life in the Madera Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center and passed away peacefully while taking a nap. She is buried in San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery with her husband, Wallace.
