Leonard Leroy Logan, 71, of Findlay passed away 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2014 in his home, Findlay.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 Monday, December 8, 2014 at the Findlay Christian Church, Findlay. Visitation will be held 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday at McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Sullivan. Burial will be in Keller Cemetery, Lovington with Military Rites by the Clarence Bixler American Legion Post # 409, Findlay. Memorials may be made to DMH Cancer Care Center, 210 W. McKinley Ave., Decatur, IL 62526 or to the St. Louis Children’s Hospital, One Children's Place St. Louis, MO 63110.
Leonard was born September 14, 1943 in Paris, the son of Roy M. and Juanita (Tague) Logan. He was retired from Catepillar. Leonard was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. He married Carol A. Bryson July 14, 1979 in Shelbyville. He was a member of the Findlay Christian Church. He was the Retired Assistant Fire Chief of the Findlay Fire Department, former member of the Lovington and Bethany Fire Departments. He was Commander of the Clarence Bixler American Legion Post # 409, Findlay. He was also a Village Board Member of Findlay for 10 years and a member of the Local #751 UAW, Decatur.
Leonard is survived by his wife, Carol; sons, Eric W. (Kim) Agney of Robertsdale, AL and Marc A. (Christina) Agney of Aviston; daughter, Joey R. (Jason) Fleshner of Findlay; sisters, Sherri (Roger) Farris of Decatur and Suzie Prosser of Decatur; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
