Clifford H. Sapp, of New Bloomfield, passed away December 8, 2014 at The Bluffs in Columbia. He was 86 years old.

Clifford was born August 23, 1928 in Hartsburg, the son of George and Lura Rybolt Sapp. He married Shirley Cunningham, June 1, 1953 in Ashland and she survives. He worked for John Epple Construction and was a member of the Local Laborer's Union. Clifford was a farmer all his life and he served in the U.S. Army.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 12, 2014 at Robinson Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m., burial will follow in Bonds Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the funeral.

Survivors include: His wife, Shirley of New Bloomfield; One son, Mark (Diane) Sapp of Ashland; One daughter, Sheryl (Ken) Taylor of Lewisburg Tenn.; Nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Tim Sapp and several brothers and sisters.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Bonds Chapel Cemetery in care of the family.
