Jerry was born October 3, 1933 in Alpena to the late Theodore and Jennie (Ryan) Schultz and later served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War.
Mr. Schultz enjoyed hunting, fishing, storytelling, spending time with the horses, gardening, and rock collecting. Jerry enjoyed coffee with friends, playing his harmonica, and his grandchildren.
Surviving are 5 children, Dawn (Gordon) Udell, Armand (Patti) Schultz, Ronda (Mark) Prevost, Eric (Tammy) Schultz, Todd (fiancée Sally Bouchard) Schultz; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Don Johnson.
Preceding him in death were a sister, Betty Johnson, and a brother, Calvin Schultz.
