Marcus' father Ole Bredeson immigrated to the New Norway district in the late 1890's. He had five sons and two daughters. It is unknown whether they all accompanied him to Alberta. His wife had passed away in the United States prior to their immigration. They came from Oklahoma. These are the names of the children who are known: William, Edwin, Marcus and Martin. Three of these children appear to be interred in this cemetery.
Marcus married Amanda Josephina Lindquist in 1912 and had four children named Oscar, Violet, Ina and Harry. There is a family biography written in the book below.
