Funeral service for Brian Baldwin, 44 of Homer formerly of Winnsboro will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, December 10, 2014 in the chapel of Gill First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro with Rev. Johnny Hankins and Noble Ellington III officiating. Interment will follow in Lone Cedar Cemetery near Winnsboro. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at the funeral home.
Brian was born to Tommy and Pam Peterson Baldwin on August 9, 1970 in Monroe and passed from this life Sunday, December 7, 2014 in Northern Louisiana Medical Center in Ruston following a recent illness.
He was a graduate of Winnsboro High School and Northeast Louisiana University (ULM). He was a third generation Eagle Scout. He had been employed as a pharmacist at Fred’s Pharmacy in Ruston for the past 10 years. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Kelly and Ernestine Peterson and Dr. Vernon T. Baldwin, Sr.
Brian is survived by his parents Tommy and Pam Baldwin of St. Joseph; daughter Mary Elizabeth Baldwin of Shreveport; brother and sister-in-law Ben and Angela Baldwin of Minden; sister and brother-in-law Lauren and Chris Lundgren of Baton Rouge; grandmother Monnie Baldwin of Winnsboro; special friend Taylor Sellers of Choudrant; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Pallbearers will be Robert Baldwin, Michael Ryan Ellington, Tyler Ellington, Chris Lundgren, Kyle Peterson and Tyler Sellers.
