Mrs. Claudia Cobb Adams, age 82, of Cleveland, formerly of Cumming, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2006, at Gateway Healthcare Center following an extended illness.
Born in DeKalb County on Dec. 15, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Claud Candler Cobb and Sarah Mina Smith Cobb. Mrs. Adams was a retired auditor with the Internal Revenue Service, a lifetime member with the Order of the Eastern Star, a volunteer with Northside Hospital and Forsyth County Hospital and was a member of Cumming Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, J.C. and Marie Adams, Dahlonega; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Ron Crossley, Cleveland; brother and sister-in-law, Hugh and Linda Cobb, Ellijay; granddaughter, Kris Adams, Grand Lake, Colo.; granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Cynde and Brian Alexander, Cumming, and Fonda and Bruce Nichols, Falls Church, Va.; grandson, Ryan Crossley, Fairfax, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
