Annie Sue Dickey Parks, 96, of Mulberry, passed away Tuesday (December 9, 2014) at Lincoln Medical Center. A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Martin Franklin and Mary Brooke Peck Dickey. Mrs. Parks was a homemaker and a member of the Mulberry United Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Donna Parks Redd, and husband, Fred, of Fort Worth, Texas, and Sue Parks Boyer of Smithsburg, Maryland; one son, Russell Dickey Parks, and wife, Bridget McFerrin, of Fayetteville; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Parks was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Harold Boyer. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. David Arrington officiating. Burial followed in Riverview Memorial Gardens beside her husband, William Russell (Billy) Parks.
