Fate Rainey lived in the Montevista Community of Webster County, Mississippi and had four children - Victor, Bessie, John David and Alvah York Rainey (spelled Raney in census records). It appears that he married two times - divorced one (Carrie Sisk as she remarried James Andrew Gettys 1874-1953 and had several children by him. The Carrie Sisk that I found married James Andrew Gettys 24 Oct 1894 - Mcdowell, North Carolina - Age: 18; Appears that she stayed married to him. She is with him on the 1900;1910;1920 & 1930 census.) and the other must have died at or near the time of the birth of Alvah York Rainey.

Margaret Baker must have been the mother of Victor, John David and Bessie.
