THELMA LOUISE ADAMS, 80, formerly of Middle Highway, died yesterday at the Grace Barker Nursing Home in Warren. She was the widow of John E. Adams.

Born in Nantucket, Mass., a daughter of the late Hugh and Emma (Gifford) Lumbert, she moved to Barrington 30 years ago.

Mrs. Adams leaves two sons, James Adams of East Providence and John E. Adams Jr. in Arizona; three daughters, Kathleen M. Leber of Danielson, Conn., Mary Leber of Coventry, and Barbara A. Tuttle of Big Bear City, Calif.; a sister, Mary Vanarsdale of Nantucket; and nine grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Homer, 350 Willett Ave., Riverside. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
