Geraldine Ault Glover, age 82, of Lehi, died October 26, 2007 at her home with family surrounding her. She was born August 13, 1925 in Cedar Valley, Utah to Clarence William Ault and Ila May Anderson Ault.
She married Howard David Glover on June 29, 1942 in Lehi. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. They are the parents of three sons.
Geraldine was raised in Cedar Valley in a loving family with four sisters and one brother. After their marriage, and when Howard returned from serving in WWII, they raised their family of three sons in the Provo/Orem area, returning to Lehi in 1957 to care for Howard's mother. She remained in Lehi until the time of her death.
While raising her family, she worked at Bill and Iva's Cafe in Orem for many years. She was a very hard worker and very well liked by the customers there. In the early sixties she took secretarial courses and was employed at the Utah State Development Center as a secretary to the superintendent. She enjoyed her work there, especially running the switchboard and received many awards of merit for her abilities.
Her greatest joy was the time she spent with family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by two sons and their wives; Ken and Jena Glover and Gary and Penny Glover of Lehi; three sisters, Necia Coleman, Washington State, Fern Gray, Alpine, Carol Hebertson, Lehi; 9 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Keith Ward Glover; a granddaughter, Rebecca Glover Uluave; a brother Elwin Ault and sister, Donna Faye Elison.
The family wishes to express their thanks for the loving care she received from the nurses and caretakers of Vista Home and Health Care.
