Brenda Gail Collins was born on Feb 19, 1958 to Ralph and Carrie Quinn in Oklahoma City, OK. She attended high school at US Grant in Oklahoma City, OK until 1973 and transferred to Carl Albert High School in Midwest City to finish her education.

Brenda was baptized into The General Assembly and Church Of The Firstborn in 1973 by her father.

After she got out of school she worked for many years at McDonalds, she also enjoyed being outdoors and helping her father tend to their land.

In 1979, she took a trip to Washington and met and fell in love with James (Jim) Collins, they were married in June 1980. To this union was born three children Shannon, Brandon, and Chrystal.

As the kids got older she enjoyed a career as a waitress at Golden Corral, she was very friendly and personable, she had many customers that would ask for her by name. But what she loved more than waitressing was her Coffee, whether it was 30 degrees or 110 degrees she would have a cup of coffee in her hand. She enjoyed working on her lawn and in her flower gardens. She also enjoyed crocheting and quilting with the sisters in the church.

She had a great sense of humor and her favorite story to tell was about her and her sister Mary shutting Mary's husbands hand in the car door (it was one of those You had to be there moments) but they would laugh for what seemed like hours and Dan would be sitting back in his I'm not so amused voice saying it was not funny IT HURT which would make them laugh even more. Her laugh was contagious she would start to tell a joke (which usually wasn't even funny) but she would start laughing and couldn't even finish the joke and of course we were all laughing with her, we didn't know why that's how she was.

She was blessed with a wonderful job working at Chick-fil-A, she loved her job there and appreciated the love and care towards her husband through his long illness and through her own illness.

She was an active member of The General Assembly and Church Of The Firstborn. She was quick to pray if anyone stood in need of prayer, and she loved to sing and was used many times in the gift of prophecy. She will forever be remembered for her laughter, her love and her faithfulness to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a wonderful mother and grandma, her children and grandchildren were her world.
