KEARNS, UT - Armond Wright, 85, was reunited with his "Mama Doll" on Monday, March 3, 1997. He died of a broken heart after the death of his wife, Valarie on February 16, 1997.

He was born on December 28, 1911 to Carolina Julia Swensen and Bert Martin Wright in Mt. Pleasant, Utah. He married Mildred Valarie Hutchison on June 24, 1939; later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He was very active in the Kearns 4th Ward for many years. He was a great brick mason for over 60 years. He built many monuments throughout the State of Utah. He was a veteran of World War II. He touched the lives of many who will never forget him. He was a true "people person" and loved to talk to anybody and everybody. He made friends where ever he went. He was a great story teller, and loved to tell his stories to everyone, especially the coffee drinkers' group at Delton Bowling Cafe. He was very kind and generous and had a very caring heart. He was the Rock of his family and carried them through thick and thin. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his five children and their spouses, Frank and Sharon Orgill, Ralph and Betty Wright, Lee and Nancy Wright, Mike and Rosalie Wright, and Bonnie and Nick Barela; 33 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Ada Belliston. Preceded in death by wife, Valarie; parents; brothers, Whitney, Ferry, Ralph, Paul, Charlie; sisters, Anna and Helen Virginia; and many friends.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, March 7, 1997, at the Kearns 4th Ward, 4660 West 5015 South, Kearns. Friends may call Thursday evening 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, and one hour prior to services at the ward. Interment, 2:30 p.m. Friday, at Mt. Pleasant, Utah Cemetery. Funeral directors, Valley View Funeral Home.
